Art... block?

Lately I've been so frustrated with my drawing. I guess it had to do with drawing those Maakis? Well, they came out okay, but I just couldn't shade. Coloring got a tad bit easier, but still quite tricky. Every time I just want to give up, but having spent all that time, I can't. I won't. Even if I am truly unsatisfied, I'm gonna finish it through bc as of right now, it's my limit. Still working to pass that limit... some time in the future hopefully...
And whenever I finish a digital drawing, I look at it and tell myself "You're not good enough yet. You need to go back to traditional." And I know I need to. And of course I will. -sigh- it's so saddening, I don't know what I'll do when I go to San Jose...

Bc of Aoi-san, I've been wanting to try realism... but I'm afraid to...

But that's why I'm always on those art communities ie Paigeeworld & deviantART. The people I meet, and who just happen by on one my pieces, really hold me up :) It's also quite conflicting; I mean, have you seen some of the better artists? Their art both make me want to improve but also want to quit, of course, it's up to me in which direction I go. -cries-

*EDIT: oh yeah, my nibs & screen protector had come in already. The screen fits just right; a little slippery but at least my nib is lasting longer now & I don't have to be too careful writing on my tab. The new nibs don't look as good quality as the ones from Wacom...? o.o but that's all I can get since Wacom is not restocking :p
